Our organisation is member of some
important European Networks and institutional
partner of various South-Eastern and Western organisations active in the field of European
Information and Education. Our aim is to encourage young people from Romania to take part to the extraordinary journey of education, which has no limits, but may be accomplished through inter-cultural exchange and learning. Here are some of the impressions coming from our members who participated to international events organised by our partners all over Europe. |
GERMANY 14-16 November
2002 at Pedagogische Akademie Graz-Eggenberg (Austria) The symposium offered to the participants the opportunity not only to learn more about the current state and future prospects of human rights in Europe and to listen to lectures on this subject given by distinguished speakers (like Professor Reinhard Rack, Member of the European Parliament, Professor Wolfgang Benedek, University of Graz, or Dr. Peter Wiedermann, from the Austrian Ministry of Interior) but also to interact with each other and to establish contacts for potential future collaborations. All the Romanian participants were very active, participated to the all events of the organized by the Europa House Graz, and, on the whole, they have brought a positive contribution to the symposium. In conclusion, it should be said that we enjoyed our visit to Graz, had an positive experience with the symposium organized by the Europa House in Graz and hope to be able to collaborate to future projects organized by the members of the International Federation of Europe Houses. Corneliu Berari, on behalf of Simona Lobont and Ion Zegheanu (Timisoara)
6-13 October 2002 at Europahaus Aurich (Germany) "Citizenship is considered being a dynamic concept which requiers active
involvement of all members of society. This is based on a deeper understanding of cultural
mechanisms, the critical reflection on current practice in community work and the
development of new concepts, involving new target groups with new methods.
Ildiko Pataki (Timisoara)
27-29 September 2002 at Otzenhausen (Germany) With the occasion of this conference, I established cooperation relationship with scientists from Czech Republic, Germany and U.S.A. The conditions for rest and food were excellent and our hostesses were very kind. I consider my participation at this event as very useful and I hope to participate in other conferences of this kind. Dr. Marian Zidaru (Constanta) 7 aprilie 2002 - 14 aprilie 2002 at Europahaus Aurich (Germany) I want to tell you that all the organization there was very good
and the people great!!! Mihaela Burete (Bucharest) 16-29 September 2002 at Caceres (Spain) "La Carta de los Derechos Fundamentales: Garantía de Ciudadanía Europea" This year, Caceres turned into gold for a short lapse of time, from the 26th until 30th of September, and I was fortunate enough to witness this. The first day of the Seminar was aimed at familiarizing the participants with the concepts and means of European citizenship, European cohesion and most importantly human fellowship. In the second day, the participants debated upon immigration and human rights, women rights and children's protection and care. At the end of the day, the city revealed its beauty one more time, as the participants visited the Provincial Museum. The last day of the Seminar: conclusions of the seminar, both coming from an official point of view and from the heart. Alexandra Cuncev (Bucharest)
